cannot reproduce Immortal option does not work on F-4E Phantom

I'm trying to create a mission and enabled immortal option so I can try A/A against the AI without getting wrecked all the time and start from the beginning. But it turns out this options is not work for F-4E Phantom and I got shoot down immediately, other aircraft is working fine though when I created the same mission and this option enabled.

EDIT: 

The "Immortal" waypoint advanced action seems to work.

The mission "Immortal" setting works as well. I cannot reproduce your issue.
