JetCat Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 (edited) Good morning pilots, I hope you have a great week. DCS is the epitome of ultra realism and absolute state-of-the-art visual fidelity and details never seen before in any other sim. But one awesome detail is missing, a few missiles and GBUs use a visual seeker head under a glass dome. These cute eyes of the missile move around for a few seconds when the electric is switched on. Like this: Since I have seen this video I am obsessed with having this small but awesome visual feature in my Mavericks and Apache Hellfires and Walleyes too. Such an awesome and immersive detail when looking out of the cockpit to the left or right to the pylons and seeing my missiles do this.... move their eyes around during their power up startup self-test after switching on the aircraft or heli electrics. Have a good week and remember, these missiles seeee you P.S. This looks so cool huh? DCS absolutely needs animated seeker heads. Does anyone know what missile this is? The only infrared seeker missile I know is the Sidewinder. Edited May 28, 2024 by JetCat 3
