Game crashes whenever I join any multiplayer server. Single player works just fine, as well as hosting a mission/campaign with friends.

I have been expieriencing this problem for some time now, where whenever I join a multiplayer server I am unable to join. My game crashes no matter how big or small the server is.

Could someone please help me troubleshooting this issue?

Hi and welcome to the forums. 

Some advice below 
Disable compatibility mode on your DCS.exe.

Your DCS has crashed
The crash occurred inside Terrain.dll.

Please check your windows install is up to date. 

Please run a repair of DCS 

Tuning Tips
 
Enable Full Screen mode.
Set Water to Low.
Set Preload Radius to max. 30000.
Disable civil traffic.
Set Clouds to High.
Set Shadows to Medium.

I went ahead and removed the Terrain.dll file from the folder and I am curently running a repair on DCS MT. That way it will replace the (I guess) damaged\corrupt file. I will let you know what comes of it. 

What do you mean by disable compatability? Mean this?null
