LeonMNT
Hello, I've been getting constant crashes pretty much any time I try to fly on DCS, sometimes the screen turns grey and doesn't come back, sometimes it turns black and comes back after a few minutes and I'm able to save the crash file. I know it has something to do with DX11BACKEND (4768): DX device removed. Reason: 0x887A0007 but I'm not sure how to solve it. Already tried different drives with no different outcome. Any ideas on what could be the issue and how to solve it? dcs.log-20240530-032015.zip
Flappie
Hi. Try these steps: ---
LeonMNT
Tried them all, the only thing that kind of works is setting my graphic settings on low for pretty much every slider. Doesn't work all the time though, I still get some occasional CTDs. The weird thing is that while running on normal settings the game doesn't stutter, runs perfectly smooth up until the CTD. Solution Flappie Posted June 4 Solution Share Posted June 4 Your C:\ drive is almost full: Drive: C: Free Space: 6.9 GB Total Space: 227.8 GB File System: NTFS Model: KINGSTON SA400S37240G You should make some room, then see if your problem persists. ---

This actually seems like it did the trick! Even though DCS is installed in another drive and C drive doesn't have a pagefile set. Thanks for the help!
