I was updating my Kola 1984 map some more last night and switching between map views in the mission editor.

Be default, I normally use the ALT option.

Yesterday was looking around in the MAP view, and low and behold found something like another 15-20 airfields.

I know that Orbx have already stated that they’re going to develop more of the airfields, so that’s cool.

i did think that it was interesting that we could start populating them as FARPs in the meantime.  
To temper any expectations, the first two that I flew to were in southern Norway and were overgrown and grass covered, so inappropriate for jets.

Having said that, they’d be fine for helicopters and maybe some warbirds.

A relative from Troms refers to everyone living south of Narvik as "søringa", so I guess the southernmost cities with airports in the Kola map would be in southern Norway by that standard

The two in Norway were next to the Baltic.  If you open ME,zoom in and  put it in MAP view, you’ll find them really easily.  They are marked with the usual airfield symbology.

The others are just dotted around the map.  The Russians had nearly as many as Norway, Sweden and Finland put together

The two in Norway were next to the Baltic.  If you open ME,zoom in and  put it in MAP view, you’ll find them really easily.  They are marked with the usual airfield symbology.
The others are just dotted around the map.  The Russians had nearly as many as Norway, Sweden and Finland put together

I was sort of joking. We're very particular when it comes to "Southern/Western/Northern" etc.
Close to the Baltics? Sure it's not Sweden?
