Dropping Mk-84 from the center station bugs the preclusion mechanic, making Sparrows from station 1 and 2 not fire.

Dropping Mk-84 bomb from the center station doesn't clear the preclusion for stations 1 and 2 Sparrows. https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/stores/air_to_air/aim_7.html

Additionally, it repeats the center station jettison sound effect when pushing the jettison button even though there is no ordinance there anymore (video bellow).

If the Mk-84 is jettison, the bug is not present and the preclusion for station 1 and 2 is cleared.

Video showing the bug after dropping a Mk-84 during a mission after spending two Sparrows from station 3 and 4 with the only remaining being the stations 1 and 2.

The CL TK lamp remained lit.
The RADAR lamp for Sparrows being ready didn't lit (above the ground radar).
Remaining sparrows from station 1 and 2 couldn't be fired because of the preclusion effect.
 

Attached a mission file with an immortal IL-76, a MK-84 on the Phantom's center station and Sparrows.

Steps:

1-Drop the Mk-84 in direct mode and manually as you would on a target.
Station 1 and 2 will remain precluded. Sound glitch on the jettison button will be present, as in the video (repeating the physical jettison sound when pressed).

2-Jettisson the Mk-84 as you would when discarding ordinance.
Station 1 and 2 preclusion will clear and Sparrows will fire normally. Sound glitch on the jettison button will be absent.

Did you jettison the bomb rack too?

When i used Mk20 cluster bombs. My Sparrow wouldn't fire unless i also jettisoned the bomb rack after expending my bombs

Can confirm this too, not only for Mk84. Edit: can't reproduce it for other waepons, only Mk84

There is no 'rack' for the Mk-84. It is connected directly to the fuselage/pylon.

See the video. The jettison sound effect loops as much as you press the red button. Like the module expects a rack or ordinance there but it never registers the successful jettison to wipe the command for the next button push...ofc I'm assuming because I don't know the code, but there is a bug there.

It only happens after you pickle the bomb with the bomb button. If you jettison/discard it, the issue is not present.

I had the problem a few days ago with 3x Mk83. I remember wondering why the CL TK lamp didn't go out, even after I had dropped the rack. However, I can no longer reproduce it today. I have just tested them all and the problem only occurs with the Mk84.

But if the Aero-27/A is really in use, then the bomb should not release through conventional weapon circuits anyway?

BRU-5/A being the Aero-27 adapted specifically for Mk84 and M118 instead of 'special weapons' (T.O. 1F-4-750 according to F4C NNWD manual), it would be strange if it were not used here. If BRU-5 is in use, then the CL tank light should stay on regardless but do nothing, as the forward Aim-7 should be firing even with the single bomb in place.
