SharpeXB Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Wow that’s odd. With similar specs I get 120+ FPS in 4K on maximum setting even on busy servers. You might want to check your components with a benchmark like Cinebench. I recently had some severe performance problems caused by failed hardware. My 4090 power cable melted and my CPU crapped out. BJ55 Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 (edited) Can you check your dcs.log at the CPU lines, my 12700F has EDCORE (Main): common cores: {4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15} EDCORE (Main): render cores: {8, 9, 10, 11, 0, 1, 2, 3} EDCORE (Main): IO cores: {16, 17, 18, 19} I've noticed in another log that the 14900K has EDCORE (Main): common cores: {4, 5, 6, 7} EDCORE (Main): render cores: {2, 3, 0, 1} EDCORE (Main): IO cores: {8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23} I suspect that it's a Windows core parking issue (win+R resmon to check if you have parked cores while running DCS), if so try with disabling the (useless) core parking. (you can see telemetry on the task manager window for each core higher in fidelity than the app in the screenshot) 3-Switch DCS from windowed to full screen or vice versa in options. (if you're on full screen, test with it off/unticked) 1
