Focha Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Don't sweat it. The new unit offers a wider field of view, which is nice, but that's really the only real significant change, it would seem. It's great that they're still looking for ways to improve their already awesome product though. Look on the bright side, you'll still be able to use the new software! Although, based on Focha's post, I'd wait until it was out of beta... :smilewink: Yep I can't get it to work, it's a beta so I'll wait for a final. No problem on that one. Although I saw that the new software it's great. Far more user friendly but I am use to the old one too. Anyone had any problem like me? Regards. Kilo_60 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Is the new TiR 5 software for my TiR 4 Pro going to improve the functionality (reading/tracking/stability) of the device or does it just add a more user friendly user interface???
Cap_Z Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Is the new TiR 5 software for my TiR 4 Pro going to improve the functionality (reading/tracking/stability) of the device or does it just add a more user friendly user interface??? That is a very good question. Also, will my old profiles and curves be directly transferable from the ver 4 software to ver 5?
samuel150892 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I got a quick question. I download the new software and went to conifigure it but I cant use shift+f12 to centre the trackir, yet i can do this with the old software. Anyone know how to fix this?
Mugenjin Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 apparantly you can't use modifiers in the current beta version, I also tried. anyway over at the naturalpoint forums they said that'll be implemented again soon if i remember correctly.
