Mikkall Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Just a guess, but... bomb mount? Sorry for the seemingly stupid question, but... something is inhibiting launch of my AIM-7s, and it's not the drop tank, CW switch, or pinky switch. I've been searching the manual, but all a search there does is return a host of seemingly arbitrary links, none of which have anything regarding the Aero-27... well, except the one that says it will inhibit launch. Being mentioned in the manual, one would assume it's something actually in the sim... but I've learned never to assume anything even when it's glaringly obvious. ~extremely frustrated~

Naturally, you will launch no missiles (or anything else) if it’s set to “Safe”

You have to eject it, because it inhibits Sparrow launch even if you dropped the bombs. 1
Grundar Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 If you have anything like a MERS or centerline tank you will need to jettison it. Turn the jettison dial to directly down and hit the jettison button, that should clear the centerline and make those sparrows accessible. 1

He must select the stations he wants to clear in the armament panel, before hitting the jettison button. 2

You are absolutely correct. That also makes me think, I need to go check if i can jettison one wing tank at a time or if they are paired only. 2
