I was wondering the same thing. I just accelerated time to get through it quicker.

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

At the moment you can't skip them. You just can use time acceleration. But it would be a good idea to make skipping option to F10 menu. I'll do that but it will of course take some time to get it released.

Thanks,  I won't fly the missions unless I can skip the intros, reading the pdfs is sufficient for me.

Fortunately with time acceleration you can skip them in tens of seconds. DCS campaign structure is a bit inflexible so it is possible that it won't be possible to make them totally skippable. I'll still look for options.

In addition to briefings the intros and afterword scenes also have sections that drive the story so when playing missions for first time it is recommended to some extent to watch those too.

Just a minor stuff, but so far all pre-mission intros and briefings have very distorted audio. Sounds microphone overboosted and/or talking too close into the mike, result is the same.

Thanks for your feedback.

For the most part, the distortion in the sound is due to the need to amplify the recording to overcome background noise. It's a balancing act between sound quality and audibility. Of course, the briefings could have taken place in a quiet environment, but that seemed a bit dull.
