Crash * Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Up to now, the centering of the view has been designed for 2D. This often means that the view centering is often slightly higher and further forward than the pilot's actual head would be in RL. This is due to the screen, so that you have everything essential in your FOV. An alternative centering of the view when using VR would be good. And then exactly where the RL pilot's head would be. Either automatically or as an option to tick. It's not a big deal to move a little forward and a little higher every time you center, but over time you'll end up doing a few hundred of these stretching exercises, which is quite a thing. 3 System Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RX 6900 XT, 64GB RAM // Tobsen CM Kollektiv, VPC CM3 Throttle, VPC WarBRD Rudder Pedals, VPC T-50 CM2 + WarBRD Base VR: HP Reverb G2 Helis: UH-1H / KA-50 3 / Mi-8 / Mi-24P / SA-342 / AH-64D / OH 58D / CH-47F Jets: F-5E / F-14A/B / F/A-18C / MC-2000 / A-10C II / AV-8B / AJS 37 / MIG-21bis / F-16C / F-15E / F-4E Maps: Nevada / Persian Gulf / Normandie 2.0 / Syria / South Atlantic / Sina / Cold War Germany WWII: Spitfire / WWII Assets Pack Tech.: Combined Arms / NS430 / Supercarrier Waiting for: BO-105 / G.91R / Tornado IDS / Eurofighter

I can't see a reason why would it be different? Most modules I fly already have it correct. FOV can be changed by monitor user. Maybe you'd be better off reporting the modules which have it wrong in the first place? Hope you're not one of those that think the pilot head should be put on the headrest? No. I'm not one of them. But the head should be on the neck. Incidentally, most of the modules where this vulture neck occurs are ED modules. 1 System Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RX 6900 XT, 64GB RAM // Tobsen CM Kollektiv, VPC CM3 Throttle, VPC WarBRD Rudder Pedals, VPC T-50 CM2 + WarBRD Base VR: HP Reverb G2 Helis: UH-1H / KA-50 3 / Mi-8 / Mi-24P / SA-342 / AH-64D / OH 58D / CH-47F Jets: F-5E / F-14A/B / F/A-18C / MC-2000 / A-10C II / AV-8B / AJS 37 / MIG-21bis / F-16C / F-15E / F-4E Maps: Nevada / Persian Gulf / Normandie 2.0 / Syria / South Atlantic / Sina / Cold War Germany WWII: Spitfire / WWII Assets Pack Tech.: Combined Arms / NS430 / Supercarrier Waiting for: BO-105 / G.91R / Tornado IDS / Eurofighter
Maverick806 Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 You can currently save different default head positions for 2D and VR by pressing Right Alt + Numpad 0. I find you sometimes have to restart the game for the updated position to take effect though. 9800X3D, 64GB DDR5, RTX 3080 Valve Index, RS FSSB R3 Ultra, TM Viper TQS, TM TPR Pedals
