solved Game crashing on loading.

[F-16 Pilot]

Hello. I am new to the game and it was running fine before, however now it seems like any time I try and load a flight the game will crash. I am trying to load a very basic mission I made in the editor. The only module I have is the free trial of the F/A-18 and I tried reinstalling everything including the game with no luck.

Any ideas on what's causing it? I will post the crash log form windows below.

There's even a bigger file with more clues, but this one will do: in the .crash file, we clearly see DCS had no more memory available to perform:

Since the forced update of KB5039212, which I was keeping an eye on, DCS has been failing to start.
I have uninstalled KB5039212 and suspended the update.

Sorry for the late reply. What seemed to fix it for me was reinstalling Visual C++. Before, I would get errors on startup, but I could fix it by restarting the computer. However, with this last one nothing seemed to work until I repaired VC.

In the meantime, I will try it and see what happens. Recently, Win11 has been giving me some strange errors.

KB5039212 doesn't seem to uninstall completely. Just because of the fs2024 announcement...
