Mysterious Suspended Smoke Grenade

Not sure what causes this but after flying around a while and shooting stuff, I often see a smoke grenade suspended in mid-air just outside the left window. I did not throw any smoke grenades and do not have any key bindings for throwing smoke grenades. But I did have smoke grenades in my loadout. Happens with unlimited weapons on or off. Anyone else get this too?

It was reported, on external view it present too.

Still not fixed after 11 Jul update.
