Nuggetz Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 I am not sure if I am understanding the new pilot model in the F16. For example if I switch to F2 view the pilot remains static in VR. However, when moving in the cockpit the head appears to move as does the shadow on the instrument panel and when on the ground on the ground. If I look at other F16 in F2 view that pilot moves randomly. If my view jumps in VR (uncommanded) so that the camera view remains inside the canopy I can see my pilot’s head moving. It is only external views of my F16 where the pilot remains in a fixed position albeit the arms do move ie advancing the throttle. I have found the Left Shift + P command relating to pilot movement but either way no change. Am I missing something or is this how it is intended to work? Many thanks in advance of any help you can offer. Ryzen 9800X3D, MSI RTX 4090, 2 TB SSD, 64GB 5200 MHZ DDR5 RAM, MSI 670E Motherboard, Pimax Crystal. Solution Tholozor Posted June 25, 2024 Solution Posted June 25, 2024 This is normal. The pilot model moves based in relation to your in-cockpit viewpoint position. When in an external view, your in-cockpit view commands are frozen. If someone else were to be observing you (or you observing them) while moving about inside the cockpit, it would appear normal. 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
