New issue with the F-4E for me on DCS. I've used the bombing table (control B to bring it up) the last month with no issues. Then, all of the sudden, in the last 36 hours if I bring up the bombing table to input data my system immediately crashes. At no other point am I having issues, everything else is running smoothly. Any thoughts/help would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Mahar17. I just tested it and I could open the bombing table and close it several times in a row with no crashes.

Could you share with us the mission you played (if it is single player) and your PC specs along with how much pagefile is allocated?

Hi Czar,

Any mission at all. Whether it's a designed mission I made myself or in PVE or in PVP. In the last 48 hours if I pull up the bombing table it crashes DCS.

My Specs are:

MAINGEAR APEX TURBO ×
Chassis:
MAINGEAR TURBO Mk. I | Black × 1

APEX Integrated Cooling System:
MAINGEAR APEX Hardline Cooling - Clear × 1

APEX Coolant Color:
Clear Translucent Coolant × 1

Graphics Card:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti - 12GB GDDR6X × 1

Processor:
AMD RYZEN 9 5950X - 16-Core - 3.4 GHz (Boosts to 4.9 GHz) × 1

Motherboard:
ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming w/ WIFI - Mini-ITX - DDR4 × 1

Memory:
64GB Kingston FURY Renegade RGB DDR4 3600MHz (2x32GB) × 1

Power Supply:
Corsair SF750W × 1

**not sure what you mean by how much pagefile is allocated?

Respectfully,

Ok thanks. I have my pagefile set to system managed. I see from the video that you can set a maximum and minimum pagefile size. Even though the gentleman making the video does not specify, I believe he is talking about maximum and minimum RAM value settings? If so, I have 64 GB of RAM, is it necessary to set a max and min setting for such a large amount of RAM. Or is my default system managed setting ok?

There are a lot of talk about page file, you need to try a liitle bit with different numbers, and see what work best for you.

Something about everyone agree is to have it on the fastest HD/SSD, with enough space, and as a fixed number not variable (so min max use the same values) about the numbers no magic number that works for all, someone use 1.5 the ram or whatever numbers, others (me at the moment) leave it as windows managed.

just give it a try, if no benefit, just roll back as it was before.

cheers

The bombing table uses Google's Chromium Embedded (libcef) you can probably get this DLL crash looking in the Windows Event Viewer.
