Hi Chaps, Phantom module won't let me into cockpit, only to the map screen. I have noticed a corrupt file in  E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-4E\bin. lua51.VIR after I complete a clean up and repair the file is normal lua51.dll until i turn on the F4 in game then it automatically changes to lua51.VIR every time. Unfortunately there is not much on this problem online that i can find for help.

I think i have removed all mods,

deleted f4 and reloaded,

any help would be appreciated

If it is AV (anti-virus) related, make a scan exception in your AV settings for the main DCS install and DCS saved game folders. The latter is probably not necessary but I did it anyway. Do a quick repair to replace whatever DCS files that were quarantined/removed/altered by the AV. A reinstall of the module should not be necessary. Lately, AVs have been messing with certain DCS files like DLL files. Hopefully the upcoming DCS updates will fix this and following that, some ppl may want to undo the said exceptions for PC security reasons.

I excluded the entire DCS openbeta folder from my AVG AV as it would not reinstate a quarantined file (for the F15E in my case). Some ppl may not be comfortable with doing that but for me I just wanted to avoid such problems with DCS files again.
