Hi

Please, in case someone can help me: Since this last update, DCS performance has dropped by more than half. Until now I could maintain a good frame rate close to 80/90 fps. Since this last update I barely reach 45 fps (on land it is unbearableand, arround 20fps). At the same time, and I get freezes, stutters, and the ghosting in the cockpit quite pronounced.

I have to activate the turbo mode in OpenXR tools to get closer to 60 fp but I still have all mentioned artifacts.

In this point. flying in VR is impossible for me.

Despite having bought Afghanistan, I am seriously considering going back to the previous version.

My sistem HP2, 3080, 64 G ram.

I'm guessing you have the G2 Omnicept with eye tracking.  Were you using quadviews?  You should be uninstalling OpenXR Toolkit now, it is not compatible with new games.  Without the boost from quadviews, you will need to lower your resolution a bit, everything else being equal.

Thanks for your answers.

deactivated the toolkits and some artifacts have disappeared/mitigated but my frame rate drops to 45 max and I still have some ghosting.

What settings are you using for OpenXR?

I would turn off "Prefer frame rate over latency."  You can set the custom resolution to 66% and work up from there.  Use TAA or MSAA x4 at first as this is the sharpest.  If you feel you need to raise the resolution to say 77% or higher, then try DLSS to get you satisfactory FPS.

Thank you. I'm doing some test with your recommendations, finger cross.
