F-5E FC vs F-5E-3 payloads

I noticed right away that the FC 2024 F-5E does not have the same loadout capabilities as the full F-5E-3.

Intentional? Or oversight?

The big differences are the lack of AIM-9J and GBU-12 bombs.

I was expecting rather opposite with FC F-5, like allowing more weapons that would represent export variants with FF F-5 following, but ED didnt "dissapoint". What is even more strange is that it's possible to drop LGB's from FC modules with some mods, and procedure to drop LGB's in FF f-5 is as as easy as dropping dumb bombs.

For starters i cant see the FC F-5 to carry the GBU-12 LGB.. wich is funny as the lasing has to be done externally and the bomb laser code is set from outside too.. so its not like if the jet cant "support" it when the full fidelity can..

Same with a-10A, and this is getting even more ridicolous, becouse Pave Penny actully worked with weapon mods that was allowing LGB's, so in order to nerf FC3 they even removed feature they already added and was unique for a-10A

I'd just like the F-5E to have the same functionality as the existing FC jets (or Lock-on: Modern Air Combat versions of these jets back in 2003) with regard to hardpoint and salvo selection.

You can easy copy the entrys from the FF F-5E stations (in lua of ac) to the lua from the FC 2024 F-5E.

Have done it by myself. But with every update the lua will be overwritten.

That doesn't solve the issue with it dropping all of the underwing bombs at once though!

That was not the question.

But yes, that is something that should be fixed by ED (& working hook).

That’s an FC thing for multi roll aircraft. They will drop all of the same type bomb at one time. Or is what’s happening here different?

All of the other FC aircraft drop bombs in pairs or singly.

The only exception are the MDB bomb racks (which drop all four bombs in quick succession). However, in the first versions of the sim, they also released one bomb at a time.

Note: It is possible to drop multiple bombs of the same type at once by using the 'salvo' keyboard press (shift+V I think)... but it isn't the default behaviour for all other FC aircraft is to release bombs separately (one hardpoint at a time).
