DCS Crashes or Freezes Randomly when flying the F4 - Locked File/Folder Attribute?

My DCS randomly freezes or crashes when flying a training mission or MP. I was hoping that the latest patch would fix the problem but it didn't. I think the problem has to do with my PC settings rather than DCS itself based on my read of the log file. It looks like the saved games folder folder attribute is locked to read-only. This is probably why I also can't save my log-in info and must log-in each time DCS is started up. I can't seem to change this setting no matter what I do. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed my problem and if so, how to fix it?  Log file is attached.

Maybe you have encrypted your folders? ... check the advanced properties of the Saved Games folder, like this:

 

 

Is encryption enabled for the folder? (on my spanish windows encrypt is spelled "cifrar"). That box should be clear, not ticked.
