Hi,

i am aligned on the runway ready to take off.

I do T1 prior to take off to enter the runway heading and when i hit Tv fix , an error message " DCS have crashed" appears on my screens and DCS is freezed.

I tried 3 times with 3 times the same result.

Hi,
Out of curiosity: would you mind sharing where did you see such runway input procedure? I can't find it in the manual.
Normally you would input the runway heading via BANA/GRANS menu in CK37.

Thanks,

Yep, able to replicate and will investigate.
Easiest "fix" in the mean time would be to not make a fix on LS I'm afraid.

I think you might have the "procedure" for take off mixed up too. The button you "want" to press is the reference button, there is no need to make a fix on LS when you take off. Pressing the reference button is also not meant to be used for every take off, but rather ones where you expect the aircraft to wiggle around on the runway a bit on take off; like in heavy wind or with low runway friction from rain/snow/ice (not really a thing in DCS).

Thanks for the report, I'll investigate!

Hi Myse,

Oups you are very true: i mean i pressed the Ref button and NOT the T1 one. The n when i press Tv Fix = error + DCS crash

Oh, I see. Well I'm happy to report there is no need to do that as it really doesn't really do anything. Other than crash DCS it would seem.
