IR Strela-10 triggers RWR spike?

I found a strange behavior from the Strela-10.

When the SAM "locking" me with there IR seekers it triggers my RWR what not should happing from an IR targeting System.

The "radar" from the SA-13 should also not trigger an RWR spike because it is actually only for passiv range finding not to lock a target,  Target acquisition only takes place visually.

because it has a radar for ranging. your RWR might not understand the frequencies being used and may think the ranging is a spike, when its just range info the radar is getting, but its used to check if you are in engagement range. some RWR may detect it, some may not. Not sure if this case is a bug, but it absolutely has a ranging radar.

so i tested the F-18 and the JF-17 and they also get spikes on there RWRs it just seems the target acquisition from the SA-13 is just wrong modeled

Sa-13 (Strela-10) has a ranging and attitude radar.
