I know how to edit the PVI-800 in game to store new WP and then made all together a flight plan. Also i know how to enter coordinates for new Tartet Points or Ref Points or a second base in the edit mode of the PVI-800.

But my problem is to do the same in Prepare Mission mode from the editor.

With the ABRIS all goes well, all my additional info and auxiliary flight plans are stored perfectly. But when i edit the PVI-800 adding a new Flight Plan, inserting Target Points and Ref Points the info dont shows in the mission after saved it and exit.

I edit all the coordinates in the PVI-800, exit de mission, save the mission, reload it again and the PVI-800 are in the default situation. No Flight Plan stored, no Target Points, nothing. All the info added in prepare mission mode is missing

Someone could help pointing me in the right direction to do so?

Thanks

hello, shame you lost your hard work. Be sure to use the Flight/Prepare Mission menu choice when in the editor, make your changes, then exit and save the mission. Follow the steps in the manual closely and it works fine.

Maybe my english isn´t good enough. XDD

I am using Prepare Mission option. Inside the cockpit i edit the PVI-800 wiht several WP, Target Points and a second airbase for divert. Then exit the cockpit in prepare mission mode, save the mission and when i came back to the same mission all the programmed PVI-800 data is missing.

I want to know if is only possible to prepare ABRIS data and flight plan via prepare mission or also the PVI-800 is programmable before the mission and the data could be saved, prior to fly the mission.

After a deep search in the DCS forumi only could find how to store flight plans and additional info in the ABRIS with prepare mission mode. It works great. No problem here.

But i cant find anything about doing the same with the PVI-800. This is maybe because you cant create a PVI Flight Plan or Target Points in prepare mission? Only with the editor itself?

I think you have answered your own question Esac - prepare mission is for creating and saving ABRIS information. PVI info is created in the editor when you set waypoint info, target points, nav updates and so forth.
