Mavkruger Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 i try to do a track next time i fly the JF17, but i was destroyed by my bomb, i drop the bomb and it climb right into my wing, destroying my plane. it was in multiplayer but i think it's reproductible.
razo+r Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Were you flying straight and level or what was your attitude and what was your G load? Can you reproduce it in single player and add a short track?
Mavkruger Posted July 21, 2024 Author Posted July 21, 2024 (edited) straight and level, 28k ft, 300-350 kn CAS, JF17 ls6-500.trk Edited July 21, 2024 by Mavkruger
tekwoj Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 From playing with the replay, you might be able to avoid it for the moment if you drop the first bomb from the right wing, but that's annoying to have to remember that every time.
MK84 Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 I've had this issue before as well. Straight and level release, and the bomb took out my aircraft. So far only way to avoid it is to pitch up slightly after release.
Solution uboats Posted July 25, 2024 Solution Posted July 25, 2024 i will move this thread to dcs world weapon bug report (ls6-100 has collision model) and its FM now by ED 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My DCS Mods, Skins, Utilities and Scripts | Windows 10 | i7-4790K | GTX 980Ti Hybrid | 32GB RAM | 3TB SSD | | TM Warthog Stick | CH Pro Throttle + Pro Pedal | TIR5 Pro | TM MFD Cougar | Gun Camera: PrtScn |
tekwoj Posted April 30 Posted April 30 ls-6-100-still-bugged.trk Bumping the topic with a fresh track of it happening. I was able to release without the bomb flying into my wing at higher speeds than in the track. Generally it seems to happen in a narrow window of speed/altitude/distance to target parameters, and it should not happen.
hamza_Khan Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Almost a year gone, and this bug is not yet fixed. I still get blown up while dropping these bombs.
