Hammer1-1 Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 (edited) Currently have a Samsung Ark 55" monitor and a TEDAC monitor that I am trying to set up. When I try to run DCS in this resolution (4440x2160) the picture on the main monitor squishes instead of pushing over to the TEDAC monitor. I get a black bar on the right hand side of the monitor and my desktop picture on my TEDAC monitor. Would like to know what Im doing wrong if anyone can help me out. Thanks in advance! I have dcs set to 4440x2160, my monitor resolution at 4440x2160, the TEDAC at the right bottom side of the monitor via display settings, not underneath. The monitors main resolution is 3840x2160 with 600x800 for the TEDAC. Ive also tried with the monitor underneath the main screen with a different lua file. tedster2 Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 (edited) I just ran into this issue with my two monitors and I fixed it by enabling fullscreen, restarting dcs, and disabling fullscreen. Are you using any additional software like DCS Device Server? Edited August 19, 2024 by tedster2
Hammer1-1 Posted August 20, 2024 Author Posted August 20, 2024 (edited) No. Anyways, this problem was fixed. Dont ask; it took almost 2 full months troubleshooting to figure out how best to get this thing to work, and I wasnt the one who made the lua file.,,but damn if it wasnt a long, complicated task. Its still a bit buggy, but it works, perfectly, and its only buggy when I switch profiles. You can create a monitor config file that configures the exports depending on the aircraft being flown.
