Hi everyone. When I log into DCS I get an announcement that the Normandy map is not authorized and will therefore be disabled... Is anyone having the same problem? Thanks!

Make sure your anti virus is not removing any files. If it did, restore the file, add DCS as an exception to the anti virus, run a repair and try again.

Hi! Thanks for thereply. I have done ALL the steps suggested in https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/authorization/ (cleaning, repairing, etc). I have checked Time and Time Zone. I have added DCS to the applications allowed by Windows Firewall... nothing has worked. Until YESTERDAY everything was working perfectly... Also, it is strange that other purchased maps like Sinai do not present problems...

I would say it's a problem on EDs end, I'm guessing it will be resolved fairly quickly, at least similar incidents in the past have. I hope it is, I can't sleep if I go to bed without flying at least once.

If you use anything like Malwarebytes that's been removing 18 files and didn't add them to the whitelist until earlier today. Mine started off with the SU-27 and SU-33 not working, just got a messege about it being not authorised and I had 2d 23h 59m before they were disabled. Then later the following day it did the same with the F-15C and A-10A and got the same results. I put the files back and worked fine.

Anti Virus and Firewall are different things. Setting an exception to DCS into the Firewall is useless in this case, make sure you add DCS as an exception to your Anti Virus. The Anti Virus is the one that can remove files.

I can confirm that when trying to log into DCS today the problem did not occur. I also assume that it was a minor problem on DCS's side. Thank you all very much!

It was on the DCS side, they were displaying a massive red banner along the top of screen with 'Authorisation Issues' written in it, also there was posts from ED staff stating there was a problem they were working on. I copied and posted this in multiple places, guess I forgot here
