Why can't you use Tpod in CCIP

I'm sure it's "correct as is" and that's just how the F16 works.

But it does seem to be needlessly complicated.

Say I want to CCIP bomb a target. But I want to make a point at the target with the tpod to have a better target to aim at. But I can't do that in CCIP it seems. So I have to go to ccrp, make a point then back to ccip.

i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.

What you want is done with ccrp.  There are many irl shots of the HUD, you can see how the pilots use ccrp to approach the target, just before the target the pilots press NWS to quickly switch from ccrp to ccip

The TGP follows your current SPI and in CCIP the Pipper is the SPI, so the TGP will just follow the pipper.
Hobel is correct. It's also safer to ingress in CCRP as a single missclick on the pickle button won't release your bombs prematurely.
