Reticuli Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Any way to hear the airbrake better or get onscreen or hud cueing that it's deployed? If not, where is the indicator/annunciator for it in the F-15 pit? joey45 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 left hand side where the gear indicator is...... i think. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Vekkinho Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Do real Eagle pilots duck to check airbrake, or do they ask their wingmen to check it for 'em... It's an obvious proof that pilot's eyes position as it is in LOFC is pretty messed up! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mugenjin Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Do real Eagle pilots duck to check airbrake, or do they ask their wingmen to check it for 'em... It's an obvious proof that pilot's eyes position as it is in LOFC is pretty messed up! nah, we just got a freakishly tall pilot in the F-15 ;)
Vekkinho Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 ^^^^ ...and he's probably Russian... 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RedTiger Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 ^^^^ ...and he's probably Russian... LOL! My vote always goes to the vPilot being too short, not the other way around. Someone who knows feel free to correct me, but I'm betting you have no trouble knowing when your speed brake is out in the real thing.
Mugenjin Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 at the latest the pilot is gonna notice is when he's run out of fuel and has to bail ^^
Reticuli Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 I would love an onscreen or hud indicator or sound, like the falcon brakwind mods. Come to think of it, I'd also like corner displays in the hud-only mode like in DCS.
