Mission Editor Problems

Hello!!! Have no idea what is going on. Have done a complete reinstall, and same problem. Have done a full repair, same problem. What is happening is only half my game shows up in the Mission Editor. My carriers are GONE!!! My bought planes are GONE!!!!  most everything is missing from the Mission Editor. But the planes and carriers and other stuff missing from the Mission Editor are available to me in other parts of DCS like Instant Action etc. And other areas of the game. Only Mission Editor they are all missing???  I cannot make a mission. What is needed is missing.  Like I said I have done repairs I have reinstalled nothing seems to help.    Anyone please need a answer here.

Hi, 

sorry you are having issues, 

first please check the editor, at the bottom is a watch if it is enabled only date specific units will show depending on the mission date. If the watch is not selected all units will show. 

If that is not the issue please attach your dcs log from saved games dcs log folder it should have some clues.

Try excluding your DCS World and Saved Games folders from your Anti-Virus. Once you get them excluded, I'd suggest running a full repair before you try DCS again.

In the bottom right of the editor window is an icon that crudely resembles a wristwatch. That is meant to resemble a 'chronograph' and in DCS speak symbolizes the chronologically accurate filter. If it is on, you will only be able to access planes that are accurate for the time period of your currently selected year. Turn it off, and you'll regain access to all your aircraft and other units. It's really bad UX, yes.
