GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 I find that at higher speeds like 70kts and above, George as pilot acknowledges the required bearing you command but never quite aligns the aircraft with the bearing. Is like he is flying a long turning arc to get to the destination. ED Team Lord Vader Posted August 21, 2024 ED Team Posted August 21, 2024 Hello @GrEaSeLiTeNiN It's hard to figure out what could be wrong without a track. Can you make a short one with the issue you describe? We've stated several times that George does need to refine its flying skills. So there could be some issues here and there. Oldahpilot Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 Could it be that George is steering a magnetic heading to achieve the commanded track, taking into account drift? This would of course mean George would vary heading with speed to achieve 'track made good'.

Seems all headings in the cockpit including the AI compass rose are magnetic from what I understand in the manual. Did more testing. George never holds the commanded heading and never arrives at the destination. Hi, i think it would be cool if we had an orbit option. "fly around this T01/W01 around 2km,5km,10km" i'm a back seater but it would be cool when i am showing /teaching the front seat to my friends ( on trying to find targets and show them strategies)
ED Team Lord Vader Posted September 19, 2024 ED Team Posted September 19, 2024 That's a great suggestion to place on the wishlist: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/782-wish-list/ Esquadra 701 - DCS Portugal - Discord
