joker62 Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 First of all, thank you so much for this wonderful campaign that takes me back in time. After landing it was a real surprise to find the dearming area along the taxiway, then proceed to the ramp. As always the immersion level is fantastic (I also own your campaigns for F-14). Anyway, I'm stuck on this first mission, result: "DRAW 50" and it keeps proposing the same mission, which I have now repeated 7 times with today. I read the mission documentation, I read other topics of this campaign, I tried to execute everything perfectly, but nothing changes. Here are some info about my flight: in formation with Flash, ignore engagement with USAAF F-4E, fly over PIUTE, parade with Flash at initial, break left after 5 seconds from command, post landing checks, stop at dearming point, resume taxi to ramp (tried both free slots), complete shutdown from checklist. Please, what should I do? What am I forgetting? Where am I going wrong? Thanks in advance for reply end tips.
Reflected Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 Sounds a lot like you’re not completing the checklist. It’s on your kneeboard too. As I asked in the pinned thread, can you please post a screenshot of your message history menu after you think it should be complete? Then I can tell you exactly what you’re missing. I always noticed that the response to the drag chute release was missing and I wondered why. It's a procedural error of mine in the drag chute release. During the F-4E training missions at a certain point I started (and I don't know why) to release the drag chute simply by lowering the handle, instead of pressing the button. In the sim the drag chute is released anyway and this prevented me from noticing and correcting this my procedural error. Flash tells Soupy "... don't be stupid", but I'm stupid. Excuse me. Anyway, I'm very happy I corrected it. Thanks again. 3
