I was doing a mission in Marianas and in the editor after I put the CH-47 in the mission it started to crash all DCS. The CPU oscillates between maximum and minimum usage and keeps giving memory errors.

Have you guys tried the new cockpit texture options in the special options category?

I am not sure when they put those options in, but they work great. I had a pretty big custom mission with a lot of units running 4k and recording at the same time and had an acceptable frame rate. I could not even play 4k and record a solo flight before.

FYI, this was with the cockpit textures on high and the cargo bay on medium.

I am not sure why anyone would need all that fidelity in the cargo bay anyway, but I guess the option is there when we have 128gb graphics cards?

I have installed this mod CH-47F Reduced Cockpit Textures [2K, no MipMaps] and I am now enjoying 140 fps with an excellent quality. I was not happy with the "medium" quality textures but with this mod the quality is awesome and the performance excellent.

I know we all hope top have a better solution without having to use mods but at least on the meantime, this helps a lot.
