I am having trouble entering manual coordinates into the DST specifically entering new airfield coordinates into data field 59. When I enter the N coordinates and press the left arrow key the numbers disappear instead of being entered and then allowing me to select the N setting. Not sure what I am doing wrong I have done this in the past and it seemed pretty straight forward. Any assistance is appreciated.

Yea, I think its because you can't set the north/south. I recommend a workaround, which is copy/paste a different one (say 58) and then adjust.

Can confirm it's bugged. If you clear the point 59 first then you can't enter anything. Workaround is either not clearing it before or if you did then do what Napillo wrote.

Ok the workaround did not resolve my issue. It allows me to enter the coordinates but when I select waypoint 59 the aircraft still points to the original location for data position 59. When I enter the aircraft that position has data in it, I hit the key next to the coordinate and enter the new data but as I said before it still points to the old location. Clearing that data position out and entering new data causes the coordinates to disappear completely as shown in my video. So no joy at this point.

test_dst.mizdst59 bug.trk

@uboats here's an example mission and track attached showing bug.

Steps to reproduce (did it in hot start, didn't test if it happens during cold start):

1. Load the cartridge in, load at least the Nav data.

2. Select WPT 59

3. Press DST

4. On the left MFD make sure that waypoint 59 is selected. Press CLR.

5. Enter a valid value for latitude

6. Press button to confirm the value, it will remove the value but not save it.

7. Try the same for other waypoint parameters, the result is same as for latitude.

Thanks for reproducing this issue for @uboats, what you described is exactly what I have been experiencing. The data is erased and not saved when attempting to enter latitude, also if I copy an already entered set of coordinates into an empty position 59, I am then able to enter a full set of coordinates however the aircraft will continue to point at the original coordinates and not the newly entered ones.

It's probably an oversight by the original author, I'll go and fix it. @uboats
