Bug1 Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 I have been experiencing constant issues with changing view whilst dog fighting its like something in the back ground is initiating the F2 command (Outside View) of my aircraft…. I have cleared all environmental data, uninstalled Mixed Reality, uninstalled DCS, Uninstalled STEAM reinstalled all the software but still have the same issue of the view changing without notice when flying in DCS….. I have replace my HP Reverb G2 VR cable at a cost of $250 aud and even that did nothing. My sim room has all the correct lighting and pictures on the walls so that my head set picks up its tracking so no conflicts are present even the lights are normal globs not the LED… I’m at a loss of what is causing this issue it never used to happen it just appeared after many updates… My Rig is a top end build so it has no limitations in that area it seems to be a software issue that triggers at a random point.. Any ideas on what is causing this issue Eagle dynamics!!
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 19, 2024 ED Team Posted September 19, 2024 It sounds like something is creating a problem for tracking, I used to get it with the G2 if sunlight was changing though my window. It maybe worth doing a fresh room / table setup in the option, reset environment data for the headset. edit: and welcome to the forum. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? firefox121 Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 It also happens to me after last updates, I cleared all the reflections on my rig, cleaned the four cameras on my reverb g2 (sometimes I grab the visor with my fingers over the camera lenses) and unplug the non necesary USB devices (this is the solution that works better for my rig). Try this last (unplug unnecesary usb devices) first, sometimes my rig is not able to gererate enough power and seems (IMO) to cause this camera tracking issues. I put also over my monitor a black paper so my reverb does not see any bright surfaces.
