Campaign Progress and Input Configs gone , no update or re-install involved.

Was there some automatic update to get us to , ah screw it this kind of crap always happens, i'll just go spend 3 hours redoing it all again.

hello. so was the system working before this last time? i bet something is amiss with your DCS folder in Saved Games. that sort of stuff is within your profile. can you be more specific of your problem?
