I have been playing around a little with the SEAD capabilities and 2 questions came up.

1. What is the FOV of the HAD, because it is not 360 degrees. What can it actually see?

2. When a team member wants to ping a SAM site, they mark it and go TMS left long. But what do the arrows mean that we other members get?

This is the HARM Footprint  based on Rmax of the AGM-88 and will increase/decrease in size according to your speed and altitude, currently and depending on the mode sometimes more and sometimes less precise.

But HTS Pod is also not 360°

The arrow tells you to fly in this direction, the greater the separation between the wingmen, the more accurate the result

1. Thanks. But yeah, I was spesifecally asking about the HAD, not the HARM. Can it see object 90 degrees off centerline? Can it see 120 degrees of centerline? Can it see 150 degrees of centerline? The HARM can attack objects behind, as long it knows the co-ordinates.

2. Well I tried it with friends and turned right (right arrow). Well I ended up doing 2 360 degree turns. Is it like degrees to the side relative? What exactly does it want me to do, because it not just turn.

1)It should be 180° and in dcs that seems to be the case.

2)

Hm, I haven't tested that exactly and I would have to read up on it, it may be that the arrow is only an initial signal, as much as "separate now".

In general you have to test it but 5nm should be sufficient for the beginning, if not then a little more.

I see. Thanks. I will play around a bit more to maybe understand it better.
