Warning about latest Windows 11 24H2 update for users of WMR headsets!

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere before...apologies if so.

WARNING to all users of a Windows Mixed Reality headset such as HP Reverb G2.

Installing the latest Windows 11 24H2 update will brick your VR device and deprecate the WMR app on your pc.  This will also mean your WMR headset will NOT work in Steam VR, and of course in DCS.  You should disable Windows automatic updates in order to prevent this from happening.  Of course, this also has other repercussions so you should do your research.

Sad to hear, I would have hoped windows would have opened sourced it or atleast allowed users to continue using the headsets. 

My reverb G2 was a great headset for me, I have moved on to PIMAX Crystal now.

My very thought also.
I really do not get why MS is doing this.
The WMR application should have been left as it is. The VR landscape has brighten up in recent years so one would think MS would remain onboard as far vr project is concerned.

I just hope some of the independent developer would implement a way around this retrogressive move.
