Launcher shows miniature tool bar only when launching into desktop mode.

The last couple of days I've been trying to launch DCS into desktop mode from the launcher and the only screen that loads is a tiny toolbar that can barely fit "DCS" and a red X close window button on it. My mouse is confined to this, and clicking on the close button presents the "are you sure you want to exit the game" pop-up inside of this shrunk window where it cannot be seen or interacted with. The only way to close the program is through task manager.

I can share my settings if requested, but it doesn't seem to matter.

If I re-open the launcher and run file repair, allow it to complete, and try launching in desktop mode again, then it opens fine.

If I then close the game and try again, the cycle repeats.

This didn't happen until, well, you guys broke the spotting dots for VR users and made VR pointless. I really don't know, for all I know this has been going on since this jank launcher was introduced.

Seems you might have some corruption in your settings, a repair doesn't touch that. Try temporarily renaming the DCS folder in Saved Games, and start DCS.
