Servers dissappear

My friend and I fly together Sundays, and for a few weeks now, he will join my, or I will join his server, but later that very evening our servers won't be visible to each other. Can't search by name or IP address, game will say servers are offline even though they're not.

Are you all on the same version of DCS? Servers too?

you defo need to all be on same version, also if u cannot see the server then try direct IP connect and see if that works

I’ve had the same problem the last few days and just managed to fix it today.

Check that you port forward the port you want to use in both TCP and UDP. (There should be an option to select both on your router.)

Add the port you want to use (10308 in my case) to both your inbound and outbound rules under advanced firewall settings.

Make sure you select UDP in the box when you create the rule and not TCP!

This was the cause for others not being able to see or connect to my server and a headache for me.
