SignorMagnifico
The intake fan turbines inside the engine scoops do not spin when the engine is starting up or running. They are fixed in place. I'm pretty sure they should be spinning if the engine is on. Happens in all maps/scenarios where the F-4 is present with the engine on. I didn't test AI. I only tested my own aircraft. Solution Art-J Posted October 14 Solution Share Posted October 14 Not sure about all versions of J79, but in the one I saw at museum, the first stage behind supporting struts was variable inlet guide vane stage - ie. it doesn't spin, only adjusts AoA of blades. So what you see on the video might be roughly correct, but I'm sure devs will chime in and reply. 1 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. G.J.S
As Art-J has mentioned, the visible front of the engine is the Compressor front frame, which has the inlet guide vanes, and does not spin. The rotor discs are behind along with the stator blades in the compressor case. - - - The only real mystery in life is just why kamikaze pilots wore helmets? - - -
