Is Ka-52 a reality happening?

I would love the Kamov Ka-52! Seeying we have the apache with multicrew and that seems to work fine why not make the Ka-52 next?

I for one will not spend money on a Ka-50 BS4.... been there done that..

 

We really need some better stuff on the red side as well ED

Because of that I was thinking... what if Eagle Dynamics did the export model used by Egypt the Ka-52E?

Unlike the basic model, the Egyptian Ka-52 utilizes anti-corrosion materials and has a reinforced fuselage structure. That was what I was thinking as well. A lot of the systems should be information available.

Forget it by a long shot! Mi-24P was already pushing the line. After the beginning of war in Ukraine, and generally cooling international relations, we would most definitely not have had any one of the Russian modules that we have today. Maybe L-39C and FC with SFM (forget PFM). Knowing that DCS is used by professional militaries to prepare their pilots even on basic stages, Russia would never allow that. We will likely not see a Ka-52 in this life.

Count yourself lucky we even got a Ka-50 in DCS, that was just a happy coincidence that ED and Kamov were able to cooperate at exactly the right time to make this happen.

There are three main reasons we don't have modern Russian aircraft

1: Not enough information

2: Geopolitics

3: Safety for ED employees

As we know, ED is a Swiss and Russian company, with employees otherwhere, which obviously means they have to deal with a lot of restrictions, and also the safety of their employees
Russia wouldn't like it if a company modeled their Ka-52 as accurately as possible. Y'know, the helicopter that's currently being used in the Ukrainian-Russo war? I don't think the ED employees would be fond of an FSB raid.

Even if they modeled the Ka-52K, the aircraft is still pretty much the same thing as Russia's Ka-52. It's still a Ka-52, despite the English avionics, better avionics cooling, reinforced fuselage, corrosion resistance, etc.

I think it's just way too risky.

It's not dead, they've said it's still alive. I'd be lying if I said that the lack of WIP posts is a bit concerning, but according to them, it's not dead. So...kinda doubtful but yeah

If it's not then that's great news, ANY and ALL Redfor mods are welcome whether official or community, I'm a Hind addict and own every rotor module so the Ka-52 will be a welcome addition, thanks for the hopeful update.

"Count yourself lucky"?  The Ka-50 is the original DCS module.  without the Ka-50 module, there would have been no A-10C module, and without the insane popularity of those two together, there would never have been World.
