Amarok_73 Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Hello, Has anybody already tried to customize the Jester's command wheel to exclude from navigation submenu all the helipads and replace them with friendly airfields? null 2 Natural Born Kamikaze ------------------------- AMD Ryzen 5 3600, AMD Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 32 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX, PSU Modecom Volcano 750W, Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime on Moza AB9 base, Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle, Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder.
Zabuzard Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Id suggest to first tell us such things, so that we can remove it for everyone This one specifically wasnt known to us yet Cheers 1
Zabuzard Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 Could you send us a mission where this happens? No matter what I try in the ME, I cant get those pads to appear in the list. I know how to fix the issue, but would like to be able to verify the fix before submitting it 1
Amarok_73 Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 Hi @Zabuzard, Sure I can share the mission. Perhaps only Syria causes this issue, as it seems, it's the only map having so many H-eli pads. And related question, is it possible to filter the list of the markers shown in the same menu to the ones created by player occupying the plane? Or if not, to the ones containing specific prefix/suffix? Biggus Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 +1 on this, it's quite frustrating. The helipads is definitely Syria only right now, a recent update introduced a fairly large number of them. Steps to reproduce: 1. Spawn into Phantom in Syria 2. Ask Jester to add an airfield to the flight plan, or to divert to an airfield. Depending on where you are on the map, there will be at least some helipads. In some places, they are the majority of options.

Zabuzard Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 (edited) Yes, Jester polls the list of airfields from the map-data. And helipads are also categorized as airfields (just with some different attribute). It only happens with map-built-in pads. Edited October 30, 2024 by Zabuzard 3

I do hope though that UGRA corrects this mess anyway. 1
