Nicosia Airport : CTD with Chinook and Apache when trying to land on this building's roof

Not just happening in multi, and not just me. Also severe fps drop for others while hovering over this roof.

Looks like it is a closed airport.

Update: Tried OH-6A, UH-1H and Ka-50III and some how managed to land on this building. All of them do not result in CTD at all.

Apologies, is this the log under C:\Users\Me\Saved Games\DCS\Logs ?

Removed all mods. Tried Chinook, Hip, Kiowa and Gazelle. Track attached.

 

Perf good with Hip and Gazelle. FPS drop with Kiowa and Chinook.

Just tried it again from Mission Editor. Vietnam Assets Mod loaded (OH-6 thing) and after the patch installed on 30/10/2024 :

Massive FPS loss in Chinook, very high FPS loss in Kiowa.

Same high frame rate losses observed in Kiowa, also in Apache. Do not have the Chinook to test. However, UH-1H is still fine.

Have you tried to remove the OH-6A and the bits it comes with? Read somewhere that some users did get performance hits with it installed.

I couldn't see a difference.

Will give it a shot later today and see how it goes.

Removed OH-6A, its playground, weapon set, 2 files under Scripts. Still massive frame rate loss at the moment of touch down with AH-64 and OH-58.

No ill effect with UH-1H, and SA342. Need to try OH-6A(!) and Ka-50III.

I have both Mi but rarely fly them so this could be my maiden flights.
