Loadie Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 I’m sure I posted this earlier; however, I’m not able to find it. i play in multiplayer in the Chinook. I’ve added SRS and followed the instructions, I can hear others but when I select the transmit button, it just shows as being transmitted on the intercom. I’ve set the radio to 30.00FM but same results. I’ve programmed 3 buttons and the same thing, doesn’t matter what I do. i looked at the manual, it’s a little confusing to me……. Brain damage tends to do that… any pointers would be greatly appreciated! I’m sure it’s something very small to sort out too!
sunwukong Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 In srs controls…I have the ‘next radio’ set up as a button so you can scroll through the radios.Hope this helps.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Loadie Posted November 17, 2024 Author Posted November 17, 2024 I’m able to transmit on the radio, but, not hearing anything in return. I press to talk ptt and no one answers. I tried to test the quest 3 microphone, but not able to get it working. I’ll chat with meta tomorrow about it. 1

Did you resolved it?

I don't think SRS is fully integrated with the Chinook at the moment, one of the radios work, for the others you have to use the SRS Overlay for tuning etc. 1
nielsenjan Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Tried out different things, but cant change channels in Chinook so they also change on SRS overlay. Seems like some more work is needed. I found a work around, so I can change channels on MDF, but still dont change on SRS overlay.... Hope they will get it working soon. I didnt look at ED's own radio at all, since we use srs radio mostly. Regards.....
Butcher59 Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 The Hook is not working with SRS, you have to manuelly change the frequencies in the Overlay CPU: Intel i7-5820K 3,3GHz Motherboard: ASUS X99-A Grafik Card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX1080 Ti 337.50 RAM: 32GB PIMAX 5k+ BE Hotas Warthog with Simped Pedals WIN 10 64bit DirctX 11.0
Bombsquadbob Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 I have a workaround that allows me to talk on ICS/FM1/FM2/HF/VHF/UHF with SRS, but the only problem is that I can't change the freq of the ARC-186 with SRS.
Bombsquadbob Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 I forgot to add, I handle the radio selection through DCS key bindings and not in SRS.

The latest SRS update (2.1.1.0) has fixed the radio key binds and the 2.9.11.4686 patch has (with the exception of FM 2) the radios working. The VHF frequency shown on SRS overlay matches the ARC-186 control panel freq setting, so I'd consider the SRS & DCS key bindings and radio issues solved for the moment. I use the CDU for my FM 1, UHF, and HF radio frequency changes now. The rotary switches still work for freq changing but I don't change freqs much, and want the switches for other uses. My current bindings are: SRS WinWing ViperAce (16EX grip) DCS Push to Talk - PTT button 5 (trigger switch full depress) Cyclic Grip XMT/ICS trigger depress (Full) Intercom Select button 4 (trigger switch half depress) Cyclic Grip XMT/ICS trigger depress (Half) SRS WinWing StrikeACE (15EX grips) DCS Next Radio button 22 (momentary 3-pos slider) LPCAP TX Selector Switch CCW Previous Radio button 24 (momentary 3-pos slider) LPCAP TX Selector Switch CW 1
