Triggerhappy69 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Check this little gizmo out: MD03 - 24V 20A H Bridge Motor Drive I have a hunch that this is by far the simplest way for all us bitten by the "it's never quite enough.." Bug..!? And hooking it up on a existing Stick/Wheel .... Doesn't look to difficult if you ask me.? Anyone have experience with these? If not I am pretty sure I need to check'em out..! Link to the manual: http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/md03tech.htm 1 "But (504)Brewber said they were'nt friendly.. So I took'em out.!" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
-Bazong- Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Looks interesting, the thought "It's just not enough" has occurred to me once or twice, especially when playing IL-2 and contemplating making my ms FFB longer... I would'nt know how to make it work though, sorry, but I'd be very interested in the results if someone else (like you) got it to work.. ;) Good luck!!
JG14_Smil Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 http://buggies.builtforfun.co.uk/Sim/hardware.php thought they looked familiar. Hope the link helps.
PeterP Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I ordered a MS FFB 2 on ebay two days ago... I will look at this. Thanks for the head's up, Trigger!
Schwinn Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I have about 30 min flight time as PIC in a Bell Jetranger 206 and I don't remember the pedals having any feedback at all to them. They were really easy to push at any speed and I never felt anything. At speed the helicopter performed like a Cessna 172 and I didn't push the rudders in either direction. Of course with that said this is a military sim so maybe they do behave differently?

I believe the pedals in the Ka-50 respond to the force-trim button the same way the stick does, that is it recenters to the position they're at when you release the trim button..
