71st_Mastiff Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 you have a clouds mod in? Look like it to me.. Might be the problem.. the only issue I get with the clouds is the shadows to the ground flickers... "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. Frazer Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Happens sometimes, rebooting solves the problem for me (for a while). It might be a GeForce card issue, I have a 8800 GTS/500. Edited June 18, 2009 by Frazer Forum | Videos | DCS:BS Demo1 / Demo2 | YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
topol-m Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Also the Anti Aliasing setting can cause that. I`m using it from the video card driver and i remember that at some level - 2x or 4x i had similar problems. Now i`m using 8x and clouds are fine. So try playing with AA settings to see which one is ok. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
PeterP Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) try to set your values in the advanced nvidea control penal to the same as mine, and report! I had also this "artefacts". - I think clamp and/or override any application setting brought a change for me! Now I have every time nice clouds. Edited June 19, 2009 by PeterP
Frazer Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 One strange thing though, I have multiple installations on my computer and it happend one time that only one installation did have the problem (until after reboot). Anyways thx for the tips, appriciated! Forum | Videos | DCS:BS Demo1 / Demo2 | YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
