TM Warthog Stick Extensions with an offset - do they exist?

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a stick extension for my TM Warthog however I have quite specific requirements and I simply cannot find what I am looking for anywhere. Could some help in case they know of a place I could find what I need?

I need a TM Warthog stick extension that is at least 5cm but no bigger than 8cm ideally, but also has a significant offset. No less than 3cm, and ideally more like 5cm or more.

To sum up - TM Warthog extension that is 5-8cm in height, at least 3cm offset and is strong and sturdy, preferably metal. Does this exist anywhere?

What about the Z extension from Virpil?

Both of my extensions are capable of offset, the curved and straight extensions. You can have the exact offset you want to sit naturally in your hand, and then tighten it down.

That's a 10cm curved extension. And it's probably at a 30⁰ offset.

That is, if your idea of offset is the same as mine.

3d printed extension will not hold FFBeast forces

My straight metal one would. And you can still have any offset you want. Sahaj's extensions come in various lenghts. Probably should have thought about FFB forces, and extensions before spending that much money on one. Ya reckon?

Thanks, but the one offered by propeler is exactly what I need, especially with the adjustability of the length and angle so I'll go for that. 

I find the limiting factor with regular metal offset extensions is that they give a very limited offset proportional to their height, at least when it comes to short extensions of 5-10cm. 30 degree offset for a 10cm extension is very little. The reason why such extensions are not available is simply that the pipes cannot be bent in such tight radii. Especially the end piece to which the stick is attached.
This then has to be welded which would increase both the effort and the price.

I am looking for a similar extension but I will probably have to make it myself.

The version from propeler is good but I don't like the look so much.

One should consider such things before spending money on a Force feedback stick. Without an extension, one could find themselves up the creek.

The QR4Rigs Quick Release page on the HOTAS/HOSAS/SIMPIT Discord channel contains extensions that are supposed to work on the new FFB Moza base.

To complement the recent release of the QRUHD Moza AB9 QR kit, we have now released exclusive Joystick Extensions for the AB9 Base.

The Current Moza-supported Thrustmaster and Virpil grips have been tested successfully and operate the same as when attached directly to the Moza AB9 base.

We are still waiting for our MH16 and MA3X grips to arrive, so we cannot guarantee fit or function until they have been tested.

The extensions are 5-pin only, so they support only five pins on both connection points.

The extensions are ruggedized, just like the ones for the Rhino, but are not interchangeable as the anti-rotational interface on the base of the extension is MOZA AB9 specific.

We have only tested up to 150mm in height successfully.

You are trying to talk about things you do not fully understand in form if you are an expert. Nobody there is talking about Moza. Even what will work for Moza will not work for the FFB base that is discussed there. One should consider dive deeper into topic and people needs, before teaching them what they should or shouldn't do
