Calabrone Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 I have the STEAm version of DCS and in March 2024 I bought the Gazelle and everything was working until last week. Now I can no longer find SA 342 in DCS settings although it appears installed and in my STEAM library. Does anyone know how to solve the problem. Thanks guys.

Hello, I saw the log file but the Sa342 seems to be loaded properly ... earlier you say that the problem is "Now I can no longer find SA 342 in DCS settings" ... exactly what do you mean? Do you not see this: Also, you seem to have an awful lot of User Mods loaded ... does the problem still remains if you disable your User Mods? Dear Rudel I have uninstalled all FC modules and Mods but the problem as you see persists. I am sending you today's log file and screen shots of the modules displayed in option. This is the log file of troday. Hello Rudel. dcs.log

Verified the DCS install using Steam>Library>DCS World>Properties>Installed Files --> Verify integrity of game files 2. Moved/Renamed the "Saved Games\DCS" folder and tested letting DCS create a new folder (to confirm there isn't the remains of a mod causing an issue in saved games). 3. Uninstalled the SA342 DLC via Steam, removed the "steamapps\common\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\SA342" folder (if it remained ?) and then reinstalled via Steam (to ensure there are no user files/skins in the official install that fail the authorisation process) Failing all the above suggestions you *might* have to delete the Steam DCS World install and redownload the whole DCS World install to ensure the folder is clean of user mods that might cause issues. 1 i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
jumphigh Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 (edited) The Steam version has the module manager, too? That's the place where you enable or disable modules. No need to clean and reinstall DCS from scratch. Edited December 19, 2024 by jumphigh
