i9 12900k vs i9 14900k temperatures

I, i just upgraded my pc from a i9 12900k to a i9 14900k. Checking tepteratures now, but HWINFO shows some as quite high; is that normal? most are around 30 to 40 Celcius.

The max temp for a i9-14900K is 100c so you are fine.

Mine will get up to perhaps 90 sometimes under load so if those temps are what you get running DCS that actually seems pretty good.

Just got enlightened on the IL2 forum: these TjMAX temps are about the headroom towards the max temp,

 what matters is the Core Temp below, here under 30m heavy load running IL2 sturmovik:

You need to make sure to update to the last bios as well.
