Mission 3 Trigger break

Hello!

So to get to the point:
I engaged and splashed both flankers, and then got vectored onto the 4 frogfoots. While intercepting them I must have missed a trigger point and engaged and killed all 4 of them, without any callouts or Roach engaging. After that engagement I turned around back to the CAP box and then a trigger fired which activated the "30 miles, master arm on" (or something like that) from Utah. Then those frogfoots respawned and started their attacks. We then went in and Roach also engaged and we killed all 4 of them again. Triggers then continued and we got tasked to refuel but at this point I was winchester and called the mission.

I wanted to attach a video but forgot to press record . I guess it's a good thing that the mission broke otherwise I would be pissed...

You didn’t break a trigger, you engaged a very different group of Frogfoots than what AWACS told you to engage. It happened to one other guy, so in the next update I will deactivate the other striker group just in case.

Oh, huh interesting. At the moment we got tasked they were the only group on datalink, and I only saw the second group pop up when I activated that "30 miles" trigger. Obviously datalink isn't prefect and there could be many number of reasons why I couldn't see them, hell could have been a classic tunnel vision issue....but in that moment I was sure I was looking at the right (and only) group. Quite interesting.

Always follow the bullseye calls from AWACS. Maybe they were too low to show up?

I gunned down the other group anyway. It's war.  I had lots of ammo for the gun, and Frogfoots (Frogfeet? ) make for easy targets (as long as you stay behind them).

Apparently I destroyed them so thoroughly they were even eliminated from the mission.

That's me!
I also used guns, but I have so bad aim I used all ammo on one of them
