The only mod I have is Tacca's NVG. I gonna try it without any mod and come back to report. Regards I've managed to fly the mission perfectly, but without mods and did a slow repair. No winds, no misplace route or wingman's. Edited January 3 by Barrufa78 1

HIGHLANDSPRING Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Just completed mission 7 - no issues, from take off to landing winds were 275/17 @ 8kft, 338/19 @ 25kft, 347/20 @ 21kft, 283/14 @ 11kft, 259/14 @ 5kft & finally 298/10 at flare…loving part 2 That doesn’t help the very strange behaviour being experienced by Zachi, it’s just another data point that hopefully helps to paint a picture. The campaign has been a completely bug free experience for me so far, which to be honest is my overall experience with all of the GPS campaigns (unless induced by DCS updates) Edited January 4 by HIGHLANDSPRING 1
phtate0830 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Just as another data point, I experienced the issue and play in VR. Just wanting to provide in case there is an issue that affects only VR players. 1
ChillNG Posted January 6 Posted January 6 @BIGNEWY or @NineLine have you guys ever come across an issue like this before? Seems to be only affecting a small number of users so I'd be surprised if it wasn't mod related, but Zachi says he has done a slow repair, and even a full re-install of DCS. We've even tried with a new version of the mission in question, with changed weather, but no success here either. Any suggestions on next steps? 1
phtate0830 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Hi, So I decided to do some more testing as I don't have any mods and the first experience I had the same issue again where I noticed that the wind speed progressively increased after departure and I quit after it had reached 80 kts. I then I ran a slow repair as I had played another campaign (Arctic Thunder) before playing LOWOS; even though I had run a slow repair after the last update. I was surprised to see that the issue did not appear again. However, I did notice that the wind slowly crept up to about 50 kts at 5000ft and maintained that til about 8000 ft as per the initial clearance. After I began to turn toward WP4 and continue the climb, the wind then began to decrease before stabilizing around 25-30 kts. I've attached a track of this incident as hopefully this will help pin-point the issue. Note that the track only includes the startup, arrival at WP2 at 8000ft and then beginning the turn and climb to WP4 after checking in with Sentinel and Vacuum. I sincerely hope this helps. As a side note, I completed the campaign and can tell you put a lot of work into this. Other than the issue with Rotor mentioned in another thread, there were no bugs and I really enjoyed the experience! Weasel Last Out Syria Mission 07.trk Edited January 7 by phtate0830 1
aebblcraebbl Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I also experience this issue; wind is increasing until its so strong that the aircraft is barely flyable. I'm using the current version on Steam, no mods installed ever. All other missions were running fine.
aebblcraebbl Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I did the old "verify integrity of game files" in Steam, (which didn't download anything, just ran up to 100%) and tried again, this time without any issues. By the way: Really cool campaign, I also enjoyed the first one very much. Thanks for the good work!

Ah ok good to hear, could never reproduce or pin down this one so was hoping that for those having the problem the recent updates had solved it. Glad you're enjoying!
